Atlas Copco Cobra TTe – Professional Tie Tamper

The Cobra TTe from Atlas Copco was developed specifically for tie tamping – a crucial phase in stabilizing rails and ensuring even load distribution in railway infrastructure. Thanks to its own engine and compact design, the TTe does not require an external power source, making it perfect for track work, especially in remote and challenging terrains.

Rail Drill TFR 330 P

The TFR 330 P rail drilling machine, which is lightweight and easy to use, consists of a 4-stroke engine and is suitable for drilling rails. The feed lever is directly connected to the gasoline engine. This system allows for using only the power needed at that moment for perforation, limiting tool wear and fuel consumption. Its large coolant tank allows for long-term use of the drill bit. Quick attachment to the rail, fully protected tool operation, and a balanced handle with a safety switch guarantee minimal effort and maximum safety for the operator. Drilling time: ranges from 20 to 60 seconds, depending on the hole diameter and the hardness of the rail. With the machine, we supply a template for mounting to the rail for any type of rail (specifying the hole height, i.e., from the base to the center of the rail), and templates for drilling (hole locators) can be supplied upon request.

Magnetic Thermometer

Used for measuring rail temperature. It has a clear and visible dual measurement range, from – 30 °C to + 70 °C and from – 22 °F to + 158 °F, for a quick and precise reading of temperature, and a magnet on the back to hold it in place when applied to iron surfaces. Its small dimensions allow it to be carried in a pocket, making it easy to transport, practical, and ready for use.

Track Gauge and Superelevation Measuring Device

A device suitable for measuring track gauge, superelevation, and the space between the running surface of the check rail and the running edge of the further rail. It can be used to check the flangeway (i.e., the second space between the running surface of the check rail and the running edge of the further rail –1394 mm) and the switch opening (i.e., the space between the running edge and the back of the open switch). Lightweight and easy to use, it consists of a rectangular aluminum and anodized tube that, once placed on the rails, does not need to be turned during the measurement phase, thanks to a centralized detection system. It is equipped with a central handle for easy movement and positioning.
